SE Day 3 : The Bishop and Presbyter’s Arrival to Singapore
The third day of Spiritual Empowerment began with Skype E-Devotion with which the assurance of the coming big event is manifested. Not only the excitement and hopes that most brethren displayed in their active participation in this ongoing SE, but their longing for more depth of apostolic doctrine and teachings as well as fellowshipping directly with the “pioneers of the (end-time) faith” depicted in their spoken prayer during this morning e-devotion.
Welcoming one of the pioneers, our dearest Bishop Domingo Ferriol, together with loving Presbyter Ning Ferriol, the SG ministers and brethren expressed joy in their hearts and high-spirited wave of their hands as Bishop and Presbyter come out from the busy terminal and too crowded Terminal 1 at Changi because of the recent “JEWEL” attraction (the world’s tallest indoor waterfall).
Bishop’s and Presbyter’s arrival is certainly a good sign of much stronger spiritual empowerment for the brethren and the church in Singapore. Their coming, to us, is like a jewel – a valuable gem that we will treasure and cherish – a dear couple whose arrival is as special as a jewel.
SE Day 4 : SUNDAY SPECIAL with the Bishop & Presbyter during Singapore Church’s Worship Service
Starting with the Sunday school, Bishop’s doctrinal lesson in “Rapture” sets every brethren’s spirit ablaze to do the greater service unto the Lord as the end of last days is imminently approaching. Bishop Dodoy briefly points out three biblical signs of the 2nd coming of Christ : first, those unrighteous will become more unrighteous and the holy will be even more holy (Revelation 22:11); second, the knowledge of men will much increase (Daniel 12:4); and third, wars, famines, and calamities such as earthquake will take place as it was recently happening in many countries (Matthew 24:7) now in our time. But, we who are in the true Church, the promise of God to be with Him in His kingdom is guaranteed.
As the special gathering goes on, the overflowing grace of God manifested to His people as they utter fiery praises as Sister Pikka Zarraga leads the congregation as the Master of Ceremony in the Worship Service together with the lively SG praise and worship team lifting the Name of the Lord with joyful singings.
Pastor Jeric Dela Cruz quenches the spirit of the worshippers leading the opening prayer for the holy gathering to the Lord. It was followed with the Scripture Reading by Elder Jon Doroteo, and thereafter a rendition of a song of praise by Sister Annie Ayangco . A highlight video testimony “The Amazing Works of God” by Sis. Michelle and Bro. Jhoone Balena once again exalted the name of the Lord, with an encouraging attestation of the fruits of abundant giving and winning God’s favour inspite of trials in life.
A song of praise was rendered by the female quartet before the message of giving, which was administered by a humble woman of faith, a mother of Peniel Area (Laguna, Philippines) and a loving wife of Bishop Dodoy Ferriol, Presbyter Luningning Ferriol who stressed that giving is a deepest recognition and acceptance to the calling of the Apostle. She pointed out that “one cannot give unless he trusts the one whom he is giving for”.
Another special song of praise by selected brethren of SG locale lifted the name of the Lord before the meditation of the word of God.
For the most awaited part of the service, Pastor Raquel Dela Cruz humbly introduced the Keynote Speaker, one of the pioneers of the End-time Church, Beloved Bishop Domingo Ferriol delivered the empowering message of God, giving emphasis to obedience and respect to the sent ones of God (Hebrew 13:17) for they are the ones whom God has given the authority and rights to forgive (Romans 10:14 and John 20:23). Obedience leads to edifying service unto the Lord. In fact, the right conduct inside the Church is being defined and directed by the Apostle in the end-Time (1 Timothy 3:15) along with the companions and ministers of the Apostle. And so the honor and high regard primarily to the Apostle as well as to ministers (2 Corinthians 2:10) in the Church are being admonished always as it becomes inseparable with faith of an individual. Having faith and repentant heart is a necessary condition, but having a high regard to sent ones of God is a must condition – both of which are required to obtain forgiveness and for us to hold on firmly until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:2). Bishop said that as we continue to listen with high regard, we realized that the voice we hear is of man, but the spirit in it is of God (Ephesians 6:19).
Truly the Bishop’s message has made the “Spiritual Empowerment” so blessed and victorious. The joy of every brethren is indeed incomparable seeing the windows of their souls shine with great gladness. Everyone is evidently empowered and surely becomes even more ready to level up the faith and service triumphantly for the greater glory of God!
SE Day 4 “Bonus” : Exclusive Missionary Service with the Bishop’s Testimony-Sharing
The Sunday afternoon service which was meant for exclusive participants of the SG locale leaders - Elders, Kawan Leaders, Asssitant Kawan Leaders, Local Minsitry OICs, and Department Officers - sparks with actual testimonies sahred by Bishop himself. Starting with his own experience of Divine Providence during his recent critical by-pass operation wherein the doctor himself was testifying for the duration of operation took place for only two hours when it was supposed to be at least four hours. There was indeed a divine intervention, he said, not only during the actual major operation but also during his recovery which was only for couple of weeks. It was the Almight God who held him in His hands to make it quicker than normal and the we ever though.
In addition, he also cited challenging testimonies of later known brethren named Brothers Celso, Dado and Roger. Brother Celso who was a regular security guard employee who was faithful in his tithing over the years was out of nowhere inherited a business in Calapan, Mindoro Philippines; Brother Dado and Brother Roger also showed their faithfulness in thanskgiving despite the difficult circumstances in life, yet in the end receive the amazing blessing from the Lord both spiritually and materially.
Bishop Dodoy highlighted that the we should be example in giving being the leaders in local church and we should be able to demonstrate the good testimony by imitating the sent ones of God. In particular, he also made mention the value and importance of constant praising God not only during the church services but in our everyday life. Praising God or utterance of words glorifying God serves as a feed to the Holy Spirit in us and this is also to acknowledge and recognize the presence of Holy Spirit in every aspect of life; and such will assure the triumphantly accomplishment of greater and greater works as we serve Him.
